Campaign Assistant: driving results 2 years on
Progress and innovation in sport are fueled equally by competition on the pitch and co-operation off the pitch. Inspired by this, in 2020 we officially launched our Campaign Assistant, a community-powered marketing tool for sport organizations to view and share marketing campaigns. Since then, the Campaign Assistant has grown from 67 to 120 clients opting in and from 30.000 to over 50.000 campaigns.
Sports marketeers access our Campaign Assistant to find inspiration for their next campaign from global past practices from the UK, USA, Belgium, France and the Netherlands, and Spain and Portugal. “The Campaign Assistant is one of our most frequently used products by our marketing clients. That certainly says something about the value for our community. Inspiration is key to create better performing campaigns for any sports organization”, says Matt Swindells, account director United Kingdom. “And that’s where the Campaign Assistant hits the target; everyone can contribute and also learn from their peers… providing not only better ideas but also saving valuable time.”
Since the introduction of the Campaign Assistant, average campaign open rates have gone up from 21,4% in 2019 to 34,3% in 2022. “A big compliment of course to our community, email vendors and our own data efforts, but we know that the Campaign Assistant is playing a vital part in developing the next marketing campaigns of our clients,” continues Matt Swindells, “To further improve the marketing efforts of our clients, we’ll keep developing the Campaign Assistant to maintain its role as the number 1 sport marketing campaign database in the world by adding more campaigns and examples together with our partners and clients.”
The new developments and ever-growing database should result in more growth and revenue for the Sports Alliance community in the future. Want to know more about the Campaign Assistant and Sports Alliance? Feel free to get in touch with one of our Account Managers or Territory Managers.
