We are currently recruiting a graduate for the role of Account Executive to join our team based in Central London. The successful candidate will be a main point of contact for clients across the Sports Alliance portfolio, whilst also managing the execution and reporting of clients’ outsourced marketing campaigns. Reporting to our UK Account Management team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the role and play an active part in the future growth of the Sports Alliance Business. The role is primarily client facing and, as such, excellent communication and organisational skills are a must.
 

Key Responsibilities
 
The key job role is to provide Account Management support across all client needs, including managing any outsourced marketing activity, and providing insight and analysis into client campaigns. An understanding of database growth and management is also very important.
 
As Account Executive, your initial responsibilities will include the following:
 
  • Becoming first point of contact for allocated client accounts and managing requests, service issues and enquiries for Sports Alliance
  • Provide client training on Sports Alliance software
  • Creation and execution of marketing campaigns for outsourced clients (via email, SMS, CRM)
  • Creation of campaign segments using our SRM Console Software and other applications
  • Analysing campaign success (revenues, engagement statistics) and report back to the Senior Account Management team and client on potential areas of improvement
  • Gaining a good understanding of client activity in terms of marketing plans, on field results, future aims
  • Benchmarking performance and outlining possible growth areas against other Sports Alliance clients
  • Following marketing trends and best practice across sports and other relevant industries
  • Helping Senior Account Managers to identify business development opportunities based on client activity
  • Play an active role in regular client reviews
 
Skills and Qualifications
 
Applicants will require a Graduate Qualification at least 2:1 with a strong academic background and experience in a customer/client facing environment. Required skills include:
 
  • Ability to create and maintain strong client relationship at all stakeholder levels and offer outstanding service to clients
  • Independent and confident ‘can do’ attitude and strong desire to play an active role in this area of the company’s growth
  • Demonstrable interest and knowledge of the Sports Industry and supporter marketing
  • Creative thinker able to independently develop new ideas
  • Excellent written communication and grammar
  • Highly computer literate including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability and willingness to learn other applications and web based computer programs to fulfil the role
  • Understanding of database structure and able to apply analytical thinking to identify patterns across data sources
  • High attention to detail and ability to work accurately on simultaneous campaigns and requests to deadline
